Phone Condition

Wireless Redemption (WR) will examine a customer’s phone to ensure that it functions and appears as the Customer assessed their phone on our Phone Evaluation matrix. Any assessment differences resulting in a value that is more than 10% lower than the customer’s, entitles the Customer to receive an amended offer or the option to receive the phone back at WR’s expense.

WR will usually communicate this difference in value to Customer by means of electronic mail (Email) but may use other means. The Customer will have three days to reply to WR. If WR has not heard back from the Customer within the three day period, WR assumes that the Customer has accepted the amended offer.

If Customer requests the phone back within the three day (72 hour) period, WR will honor this request and pay for first class mail shipping through the US Postal Service.

For a fully performing phone (as assessed by Customer) WR will test the phones it receives for the following attributes:
  1. Ability to power up
  2. Ability to make a test call (to 611; no service needed to perform this call)
  3. Functioning liquid crystal display (LCD)
  4. Water damage evidence
  5. Personal passwords must be unlocked
  6. Verizon, Sprint, U.S. Cellular and Cricket (and any other phone NOT using a SIM card) must have no financial obligations to a previous carrier. Also, these phones will not be honored if the are reported lost or stolen to the carrier.
  7. Cosmetic condition

Pricing

Prices are guaranteed for 30 calendar days from the day the Customer performed a check out at our web site or through any third party service providers employed by WR.

Subscriber data/information

WR’s staff of trained technicians will erase any personal information found on your phone according to the phone manufacturer’s prescribed methods or industry standard methods.

Accessories

Please do not send accessories unless you (Customer) are specifically requested to do so.

Shipment of phones

WR is not responsible for any phones or other electronic devices which are lost or damaged in transit. Items shipped by FedEx Ground …

Limitations

This program is a consumer oriented program and not intended for wholesale phone dealers or others who make a business in the secondary phone market. WR reserves the right to refuse any submission of phones/devices greater than 100 handsets/devices, which have not been previously approved by us.

Phone Ownership

Once your phone is assessed as being within 10% of your assessed value or within 72 hours of our sending you an amended offer without a reply, the devices sent in become the property of WR. Prior to that, the device still belongs to you.
